Newark Golf Club Thursday 27th May

Well here we go again the first golf day of the year was held at Newark Golf Club. As always the course was in great condition, full credit to Graeme and his staff. The competition was sponsored by Chris Sellers Groundcare & Toro/Lely (UK) Ltd, many thanks to the sponsors for the great table of prizes.

It was nice to see our section chairman Mr. Allan Walker returning a full card and playing 18 holes without his famous N.R.

Make a note in your diary Trade V Greenkeepers September 22^nd 1.pm at Torksey, this promises to be one of the main events of the year for a certain section chairman with a very large chip on his shoulder.

As most of you know the banter starts "NOW" with no holds barred and the trade are very confident this year, supporting a full squad of good golfers.
